JASM will hold an annual meeting to report on programs and activities for 2009. Board members and officers will be elected. Please come and share your ideas for the future of Japan America Society of Minnesota.

It is time to celebrate the end of the year, and, to honor the timeless tradition in Japan of "Bonenkai" - the end of the year gathering of friends over food and drinks.

This is an open invitation for JASM members, and their friends, to come to a casual "Bonenkai" that will be held at Kikugawa Restaurant at Riverplace on Thursday, Dec. 17 starting at 7:30 until 9:00p.m.

We understand that this is a busy time for everyone. Reservations are requested.  Please let us know if you can come by calling the JASM office, 612-627-9357, or by sending an email to jasm@us-japan.org.

Just to make sure everyone understands, there is a $10 charge for this event that includes a light dinner.  Beverages are on your own account. New members have a chance to mingle with long-term members at this fun event!! We're just making a gathering point for everyone to come and celebrate Bonenkai together.
