We know there are so many of you interested in Japanese topics, spending your time studying and reading about Japan. Our goal for J-Quiz is to encourage people to continue their study of Japanese language and culture and have a place to share with like-minded people.
Anyone of any age is welcome, whether you're a novice or an expert in Japanese language and culture. Please join us!

In this keynote address, Alex Ehret will share her journey from studying Japanese at university to building a long-term life and career in Japan. Drawing on her experiences as a student, JET participant, and professional in Tokyo, she will explore how language study, cultural curiosity, and a willingness to step into the unknown led to unexpected career paths and her current bilingual role at a global space company. She will also reflect on life in Japan beyond work and offer practical advice on preparing for JET, navigating career transitions, and building a life in Japan.
